History
In 1905 the first Methodist Church on Hall Street opened its doors.
As it was the only church to serve the area, it was considered a community church, but was always served by a Methodist minister. Easter Sunday marked the first services given in the new sanctuary by Rev. Peter Nicholson.
In 1911 the church became formally known as Seabrook Methodist Church and was assigned a regular minister, Rev. A.L. Connors. At this time a front foyer was added.
During the church’s early years, Iva Robinson’s father, the Reverend Davis, was a minister and lived in the parsonage located across the street. Because of this, in 1972, G.W. And Iva Robinson (longtime church members) purchased the property for sentimental value and has owned it to the present time. In 1997, the property caught fire and it was decided to renovate. Thus the idea of the Old Parsonage Guest House was conceived. During the construction the original church walkway was discovered and preserved. The Old Parsonage Guest House serves as a reminder of times past and is a rich part of Seabrook’s history.

“When we arrived and saw The Old Parsonage Guest House for the first time I could not believe my eyes! The house was beautiful! It was so much more than I dreamed it would be. We went inside and found that it was even more incredible than the outside. The pictures on your website simply do not do it justice~
"We have been to about 12 different Bed & Breakfast Inns over the past 14 years that we have been married. I must confess that The Old Parsonage Guest House is now our favorite. In fact we have decided that it is our vacation home or better yet our second home. We have already made plans to return in the next few months.” ~
